These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you use the Medza website, create an account, book a consultation or use services made available through Medza.
Last updated: October 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Medza website, including medza.in, your Medza account and any consultations, booking services, information or other services made available through the website.
In these Terms, “Medza”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to medza. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing or using our website or services.
By using the website, creating an account, booking a consultation or otherwise using a Medza service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or our services.
2. What Medza provides
Medza is an online healthcare platform designed to facilitate access to doctor-guided healthcare services.
Depending on the service available to you, Medza may provide online consultation booking, communication with registered medical professionals, healthcare information, account management and related administrative services.
The availability of particular healthcare categories, consultations, treatments or other services may vary over time and by location, eligibility and clinical circumstances.
3. Medical professionals and clinical decisions
Where you use a Medza service involving a medical consultation, you may be assessed by an independent registered medical professional.
The medical professional is responsible for exercising independent professional judgment in relation to your consultation and clinical care.
Medza does not replace the professional judgment of a registered medical professional and should not be understood as making medical diagnoses, prescribing medicines or determining treatment on behalf of a doctor.
A doctor may determine that a particular treatment, medicine, prescription or referral is not appropriate for you. Completing a consultation or submitting health information does not create a right to receive a particular treatment or prescription.
4. Emergency situations
Medza is not an emergency medical service.
Do not use the website or wait for an online consultation if you are experiencing a medical emergency or symptoms that require immediate attention.
In an emergency, contact your local emergency medical service or attend the nearest appropriate emergency department.
5. Eligibility and use of the website
You agree to use Medza only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must provide information that is accurate, complete and reasonably current when creating an account, booking a consultation or providing information relevant to your care.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
You must not use another person’s account or impersonate another person.
6. Healthcare information you provide
When using healthcare services, you may be asked to provide information relating to your health, medical history, symptoms, medications, allergies, lifestyle or other information relevant to your care.
You are responsible for providing information that is truthful and complete to the best of your knowledge.
Withholding or providing inaccurate information may affect the medical professional’s ability to assess your situation appropriately.
Our handling of personal and healthcare information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Consultations and bookings
Where consultation booking is available, you may be required to select an available date and time and provide the information necessary to complete your booking.
A booking is subject to availability and may be changed, cancelled or rescheduled where reasonably necessary.
You are responsible for attending your scheduled consultation at the selected time and using the contact details or access method provided to you.
Additional terms relating to cancellations, refunds and missed consultations may be provided in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Payments and pricing
Where a fee applies, the applicable price will be displayed before you complete the relevant purchase or booking, subject to applicable taxes and charges.
You agree to provide accurate payment information and to pay all applicable amounts associated with the service you purchase.
Payment processing may be handled through third-party payment providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply to payment transactions.
Pricing, availability and service offerings may change from time to time. Changes will not affect a transaction that has already been completed except where permitted by applicable law or where a correction is required.
9. Refunds and cancellations
Refund and cancellation rules depend on the service purchased and the circumstances of the cancellation.
The applicable terms will be communicated through the website, booking process or our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
10. Acceptable use

You may access and use the website for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, publish or commercially exploit Medza content without appropriate permission.
13. Third-party services and links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, communication services, technology providers or external websites.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies and practices. Medza is not responsible for the independent operation or content of third-party websites or services.
14. Availability of the service
We aim to keep Medza available and functioning reliably, but online services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, connectivity problems, third-party service interruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website or a particular service where reasonably necessary.
15. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Medza is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, telecommunications failures, third-party platform failures or interruptions to payment or communication services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
These Terms do not alter the independent professional responsibilities of registered medical professionals providing healthcare services.
16. Account suspension or termination
We may suspend or restrict access to an account where reasonably necessary to protect the security of the website, prevent fraud or misuse, comply with applicable law, or address a material breach of these Terms.
You may stop using your account at any time. Certain information may continue to be retained where required for legal, regulatory, accounting, security or legitimate operational purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, legal requirements or business practices.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Medza after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other rights available to you under applicable law.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or your use of Medza will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and legal forums having appropriate jurisdiction, including any mandatory consumer dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable law.
